William M. Boyd Elementary CCRPI Data

Based upon the 2023-2024 CCRPI Data, William M. Boyd received a 70.7 Governor’s Office of Student Achievement score. Moreover, based upon the data William M. Boyd was awarded a Title I Reward School Distinction.

CCRPI stands for College and Career Ready Performance Index, and it's a tool used by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) to measure how well schools, districts, and the state are preparing students for college and careers: 

  • What it measures

    The CCRPI rates schools on a scale of 0 to 100 based on five main components: 

    • Content Mastery 

    • Progress 

    • Closing Gaps 

    • Readiness 

    • Graduation Rate 

  • What it includes

    The CCRPI also reports on other information, such as: 

    • Student subgroup performance 

    • School climate 

    • Financial efficiency status 

  • Who it's for

    The CCRPI is intended to inform educators, parents, and community stakeholders so they can work together to improve student outcomes 

  • How it's used

    The CCRPI provides a roadmap to help promote and improve college and career readiness for all students 

The GaDOE releases CCRPI scores for each school in the state annually. The GaDOE did not calculate CCRPI scores in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The GaDOE plans to produce complete CCRPI reports in 2023.

During my tenure as principal of William M. Boyd Elementary School from 2017 to 2024, I had the privilege of leading a team dedicated to academic excellence and continuous improvement. Under our leadership, Boyd was recognized for its outstanding achievements, exemplifying what it means to be a Title I Reward School. At Boyd, we prioritized data-driven instruction, innovative teaching practices, and a culture of high expectations, contributing to exceptional performance in these critical areas.

Reward Schools are the top 5% of Title I schools achieving significant academic growth over time. Through strategic planning, professional development, and targeted interventions, Boyd demonstrated remarkable progress in content mastery scores year over year.

These achievements reflect the hard work of the Boyd community—students, teachers, and families—who embraced the vision of growth and excellence. It was an honor to lead this journey and witness the transformative power of education in action.
